Deer Valley

Luxurious resort living on some of the world’s best ski slopes.

Welcome to Deer Valley

Luxurious resort living on some of the world’s best ski slopes
Built around the premier Deer Valley Resort located in Park City, Utah, Deer Valley is nestled in the back of the Wasatch Mountains and includes the neighborhood areas of Empire Crest, Upper Deer Valley, Deer Crest, and Lower Deer Valley. Each location comes with its own unique attributes and advantages, though all of the Deer Valley neighborhoods share the added benefits of world-class services, gorgeous mountain views, and a sense of prestige—after all, you’re living in a resort!
The Deer Valley Resort separates itself from the bevy of other ski resorts in the area by offering unparalleled, upscale amenities, high staff-to-guest ratios, and limited access to the slopes each day, including a skiing-only policy. The first ski trails of Deer Valley were created in the 1930s and have blossomed to include over 2,000 acres of land to enjoy.
Luxurious, Deer Valley single-family homes line the mountainsides, brimming with class and usually including access to ski trails, sometimes with private routes. Estate homes and modern condominiums with incredible amenities provide the perfect lodging for mountain lovers and skiers who never want to leave the slopes. Depending on your neighborhood location, you might be right next to the high-end shopping and dining of the resort itself, closer to the base and unique facets of Park City’s main street, or tucked away in a private gated community where opulence and comfort are must-haves.

What to Love

    • First-class spa amenities and treatments at places like The Spa at Stein Eriksen Lodge
    • Minutes from Park City’s Main Street
    • World-renowned skiing during the winter seasons, including private trails

People & Lifestyle

Deer Valley real estate is near active crowd and sports enthusiasts will love the ease of hopping right onto the slopes, snowmobiling, and hiking around the area’s dazzling swaths of powdery snow. Those who enjoy luxury and pampering can get their fill of resort and spa amenities, fine dining, and exclusive clubs. Walk along the soft lights of downtown Park City and find yourself charmed by its quaint, mountain town atmosphere, or perch up in your cabin to stay cozy by the fire. No matter your predilections, if you love mountain living, Deer Valley is an ideal place for you.

Dining, Shopping & Entertainment

When you live at a resort, you get to enjoy a lifestyle of luxury that includes access to impeccable dining and shopping locations. Deer Valley has several resort-owned stores that carry gifts, specialty items, and clothing for shoppers, and for your day-to-day needs, you can head to Park City for its many venues, including those along Park City’s famed Main Street.
RIME, which replaced its predecessor J&G Grill at the St. Regis Deer Valley hotel, has a rustic-meets-refined setting that goes well with Chef Matthew Harris’ New American cuisine. Their menus are built around seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients and include decadent breakfasts, savory lunches, and delicious dinners.
Pub and bar food gets a facelift in Daly’s Pub at Montage Deer Valley, where gourmet pizzas and hearty, satisfying meals are the staples of an exciting menu. Indulge in fine wine, brews, and spirits, then play vintage arcade games in their lively venue. Prefer to eat at home? Grab to-go items, freshly brewed coffee roasts, gourmet groceries, or ready-to-eat deli foods from Deer Valley Grocery Cafe, a one-stop-shop where home-made, healthy foods and the finest ingredients come first.

Things to Do

If looking at the pillowy snow and well-groomed slopes wasn’t enough to convince you of Deer Valley’s skiing prestige, its competitive events might do the trick. The FIS World Cup—or the freestyle international world cup—has been held at Deer Valley Resort for over 20 years. The event brings in thousands of visitors every year, including the world’s best skiers, who race down the same slopes featured in the 2002 Winter Olympics to chase victory.
But, Deer Valley is more than internationally-renowned skiing and winter weather. The area is equally inspiring in the summer and provides a bevy of events and live entertainment opportunities in addition to hiking, mountain biking, fine dining, and shopping. Regardless of the season’s temps, Deer Valley produces high-quality luxury experiences every day.
The Deer Valley Summer Concert Series is an excellent way to soak up the stunning greenery of the summer mountains while dancing along to your favorite artists with friends in this open-air event. Casual and exciting, attendees can sit on blankets in the grass, drink, eat, and marvel at the magnificent sunsets over the mountain skylines.

Deer Valley is served by the Park City School District, which is ranked third in the state and includes Pre-K & K-12. Top schools in the district include:
    • Park City High School, 9-12, one of the top 10 public high schools in the state
